Looking for a calm, quaint, private and joyful birthday celebration for your little one?
Host your child’s special day in our Play & Learn Room at Speech & Smile — perfect for small groups and ages 1-5 years old.
We welcome you to come see the space first — just contact us to arrange a visit.
What's included? The Play & Party package Cost $200 (non-refundable $50 deposit to reserve your date and time)
- 1 1/2 -2 hours for the party! (Typically, 1 - 11/2 hours is enough time but we give you some wiggle room!)
- 30-40 minutes of setup time prior to the party start time
- Up to 8 children play comfortably.
- 2 child size table and chairs.
- A variety of toys, games and pretend play activities in the playroom.
- Complimentary Story Time by one our Speech & Smile staff.
- Separate but connected area with a table for your own face painter, party supplies, snacks etc.
- Blue screen photo drop for pictures
- Full post-party cleanup handled by our staff!
Enjoy story time, toys, and play in a clean, cozy setting — we handle table setup, story time, and cleanup, so you can relax and make memories.
You’re welcome to decorate as you wish or choose from our convenient Party Package options.
Bring your own decorations, balloon garland, snacks, cake, or themed tableware to make it your own—just no confetti, glitter, or nails on walls, please. We highly recommend Petoskey Party Company for balloons and more!

Say & Play Sensory Station - Price: $50 add-on
Add a hands-on, sensory-rich experience to your child’s party with our Say & Play Sensory Station! This table features 2 different sensory bins filled with fun textures and materials to explore, perfect for engaging little hands and curious minds. Themes aren’t required, but we’re happy to tailor the setup to your party vision!
Parent Supervised: We’ll set up everything—parents stay nearby to guide and enjoy the sensory fun!
Exploration & Learning: Encourages tactile exploration, fine motor skills, and imaginative play.
Interactive Fun: A calm, engaging activity that complements the excitement of the party.
Calm & Create Sensory Station - Price: $50 add-on
Add a touch of creativity and calm to your child’s party with our Calm & Create Table! This activity station features all things Play Dough. Engaging and hands-on designed to spark imagination while promoting focus and fine motor skills. Perfect for kids who love to build and explore with Play Dough. (Typically, one jar per child and they can take the jar home. Of course, feel free to smoosh it all together and let the kids be creative.)
Parent Supervised: Our team sets up everything—you just relax and let the fun happen! Parents are encouraged to stay and assist as needed
Color & Create Add-On - Price: $50 add-on
Bring extra fun and creativity to your child’s party with our Color & Create Table! This station is filled with vibrant art activities designed to inspire imagination, encourage fine motor skills, and let kids explore colors and textures.
Parent Supervised: We set up everything—you just enjoy watching the creativity unfold! Parents are welcome to assist.
Artful Variety: Includes a variety of crayons, markers, paper and books to be creative with.
Fun & Relaxing: Perfect for kids who love to color!
Paint Party Add-On - This is a popular one!
Get ready to paint, create, and have fun! With our Paint Party Add-On, kids can learn to paint mandala rocks, color on canvas, or simply let their creativity flow.
🎨 Led by Our Play Pro & Artist: This add-on is hosted by Molly McCarthy, our talented play pro and artist. She’ll help plan your vision, customize your experience, and lead the activity so you can sit back, relax, and capture the fun!

The Play & Party PLUS Package! $500 Just want to sit back, relax, and have everything done for you? We’ve got you covered!
The VIP Package is our all-inclusive party experience where we work with you to create your child’s perfect celebration! We provide a variety of toys, themed table activities, and books for story time—all designed to keep kids engaged and happy.
This is a 1 1/2 - 2 hour party, and we handle it all from start to finish:
✨ We set up. We decorate!
✨ We supervise and engage children in play, games, story time and more!
✨ We capture the fun with photos and send them to you.
✨ We clean up afterward.
We’ll collaborate with you to include activities your child and guests will love, and we even provide snacks and drinks for everyone!
You literally don’t have to do a thing, just show up and enjoy your child’s joyful day! 🎉

General Party Policies:
Setup & Decorations:
Hosts may arrive 30 minutes before the party begins to bring in their snacks, decorations, etc.
Food & Drinks:
Snacks are welcome.
NO REAL CANDLES ARE ALLOWED due to fire codes
Food must be ready to serve—no kitchen storage/heating
Food and drink must stay in the party space
Play & Supervision:
Grip socks are highly recommended. We are not carpeted which makes it easy to clean up spills, but it can be slippery. Party Host must supervise children at all times.
Timing & Cleanup:
15 minutes allowed for the host to clean up personal belongings.
