Play Group in the Pool!

Play Group IN THE POOL! A collaborative event hosted by Speech & Smile and Petoskey Swimming.

It may be snowy and freezing outside, but we’re bringing playgroup inside—to the pool! 

Join us for Playgroup in the Pool, a fun, relaxed water experience designed especially for our toddler and preschool friends.

This is not a skill-based class. There’s no pressure, no expectations—just fun.
Your child can:
• Sit on the steps
• Sit on the side
• Come into the water on their own
• Or go in with you

Every child participates at their own comfort level 

We’ll spend our time singing songs, moving in the water, and playing games with pool toys—all focused on joyful movement and positive water experiences. It’s a wonderful, low-pressure introduction to the pool!

For safety and connection, space is limited and advance sign-up is required. Group size is intentionally kept small, with a teacher and a certified swim instructor in the water with the children, plus additional teachers on deck as needed to support the group and pool environment.

💲 $20 per child (pay at the time you come)
👶 Recommended age: Toddler & Preschool
🩲 Swim diapers are required for children who are not potty trained

If a parent chooses to get in the water with their child, they are considered a participant, and a $10 parent participation fee will apply that is paid directly to the Lodge Pool at the time of arrival.
