What is Boutique Style Speech Therapy? 

“Boutique style” is a type of private practice with a more personalized, interest-based approach to speech- language and occupational therapy services. At Speech & Smile, we will always create a therapy plan to suit your child’s and family preferences for speech, language and occupational therapy.  This is not a one size fits all approach to therapy.

“Boutique style” treatment is 100% individualized in a very inviting and friendly atmosphere. We are not a medical or clinical based speech- language- occupational therapy practice.  We do not require a formal evaluation, diagnosis or qualification standard to receive services.

Our therapy space is play-based and very inviting for children. We also have a more structured therapy space for older children that are beyond play-based therapy.  Grab a cup of our coffee and watch your child’s session through our one-way viewing window. Or join the fun in the play-based therapy room. We work with you to focus on areas of concern for your child and prioritize tailoring service to your child’s unique needs, strengths and goals.

We accept a limited number of clients so our therapists can truly dedicate the time and attention to each family’s and child’s needs. We encourage messages from you when there may be  questions/concerns. Our goal is to also help you to support your child’s communication development at home to achieve the most progress in the least amount of time. We will give you the inspiration and show you the techniques to incorporate practice into games and activities within your daily routine!
