Speech & Language Pathologists-

Meet Jill...

Jill, M.A., CCC-SLP, is the Founder and Owner of Speech & Smile. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University Bloomington and has more than 20 years of experience working with children and families.

As a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, Jill has extensive experience supporting children's speech, language, literacy, and communication development. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping children build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and achieve success through engaging, child-centered learning experiences.

Jill is passionate about creating innovative educational resources that support language, literacy, and learning. She collaborates with speech-language pathologists, educators, and authors to develop and curate learning materials, including the Say & Play Mini Objects™ product line. Select Speech & Smile products are also available through Super Duper Publications.

At Speech & Smile, Jill's mission is to make learning interactive, meaningful, and fun. She believes children learn best through engagement, play, storytelling, and hands-on experiences. In addition to leading Speech & Smile, Jill shares educational resources and learning ideas with families and educators through social media and literacy-based projects, including collaborative story-based learning experiences designed to encourage communication, reading, and language growth.

Jill's vision is to help children become confident communicators, readers, and lifelong learners by creating positive educational experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

 Meet Krista...

Krista, M.A., CCC-SLP is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with 29 years of experience helping young learners build strong communication skills. For 26 of those years, she worked in a kindergarten through third-grade school, where she specialized in articulation, phonological disorders, and expressive and receptive language development.

She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Michigan University and has dedicated her career to helping children develop confidence while strengthening the speech and language skills they need to succeed.

Krista is a proud mom of three grown children. Her oldest is a second-grade teacher, her middle child works in business development management, and her youngest is studying occupational therapy in college. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time boating with family and friends.

Krista is passionate about creating engaging, supportive learning experiences that help every child grow with confidence.

Meet Kailey...

Kailey, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with more than 14 years of experience working with children in both school-based and outpatient settings. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University.

Kailey has extensive experience supporting children in the areas of speech sound development, language, literacy, reading, spelling, and communication. She is passionate about helping learners build confidence through engaging and interactive educational experiences that connect speech, reading, and spelling skills.

At Speech & Smile, Kailey leads online classes focused on speech sound practice, literacy development, reading, spelling, and communication. She specializes in creating engaging learning experiences that target specific speech sounds while incorporating reading, spelling, vocabulary, and language activities to support overall communication and literacy growth.

Kailey is also the co-author of the Sound Tales Series, a collection of educational books designed to help educators, parents, and speech-language pathologists teach challenging speech sounds through meaningful and engaging activities. Her experience as both a clinician and author allows her to create classes that are educational, interactive, and designed to help learners build confidence and strengthen essential communication and literacy skills.

Kailey's goal is to inspire learners to become confident communicators, readers, and writers by making learning engaging, practical, and fun.

Meet Megan...

Megan, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience working in public schools, private practice, and aquatic/hippotherapy settings. She is passionate about helping children build confidence in their communication, supporting each learner in finding the communication methods that work best for them.

Megan earned her Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University after receiving a full athletic scholarship to play volleyball. She lives in Texas with her husband, two children, and their tortoise, Laylen.

In addition to her clinical work, Megan is a children's author dedicated to increasing disability representation in children's literature. Inspired by the many children she has worked with throughout her career, she created the Mission: Inclusion book series, which celebrates diversity, inclusion, and the unique strengths of every child while encouraging empathy and understanding.

You'll find Megan teaching many of our online Speech & Smile classes through Outschool, where she brings her expertise, creativity, and engaging teaching style to help children strengthen speech, language, literacy, and communication skills in a fun, supportive learning environment.

Meet the Teacher!

Molly is an experienced educator with over 16 years of classroom teaching experience and more than 5 years of tutoring experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Lake Superior State University and completed her teaching certification through Spring Arbor University.

Molly is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve success through engaging, individualized instruction. She has experience supporting learners across a variety of academic subjects and enjoys creating positive learning environments where students feel encouraged to participate, grow, and develop a love of learning.

At Speech & Smile, Molly teaches academic enrichment and literacy-based learning opportunities while incorporating interactive activities that make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. Her dedication to student success, combined with her enthusiasm for education, helps learners feel supported as they strengthen their skills and confidence.

In addition to her work as an educator, Molly is a talented artist who enjoys creating and exhibiting her artwork at local art shows. Her creativity and passion for learning inspire the students she works with every day.

Meet the Story Time Creator!

Ms. Stephanie wears many hats here at Speech & Smile — she’s truly our very own Mary Poppins! If she’s not busy filling Say & Play Kits in the workshop, you’ll likely find her bringing stories to life in our Say & Play Story Time read-alouds on YouTube. Her creativity and kindness shine through in everything she does, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our team!
